All children have the right to feel safe and well and know that they will be attended with due care when in need of first aid. It is the responsibility of the school and the parents to healthy environment for the students. In this regard, the school shall issue and implement various health and safety guidelines that parents are expected to abide by and ensure their children do so as well.

OUR SCHOOL WILL:

  • Administer first aid to children, when in need a competent and merely manner.
  • Communicate children’s health problems to parents when considered necessary.
  • Provide supplies and facilities to cater for the administering of first aid.
  • Maintain a sufficient number of staff members trained with a level ‘1’ first aid certificate.
  • Promoting and reinforcing awareness about healthy lifestyle habits, including choice of food and practice of exercise.

THE PARENTS SHALL:

  • Share all the information related to their child’s medical condition and history with the school.
  • Collect their child from school if asked to do so due to illness and keeping them at home for the recommended period as set out in the medical form.
